Boadicea’s Tarot of Earthly Delights is a surprisingly unique RWS style deck created by Paula Millet, with a companion guidebook written by Caroline Kenner with Paula Millet. It is a numbered first edition with a limited number of sets available.

The deck is a fully illustrated 80 card RWS style Tarot, featuring original collage art. The illustrations were created by combining visual elements from various fine art and commercial sources for each card. These elements were curated from sources ranging from antiquity to the early days of the 20th century.

Deck & Book Details

The numbered first edition boxed set includes the 80 card deck and 212 page, 6”x 9” trade paperback style companion guide. The book is written by Caroline Kenner with deck creator Paula Millet. It features full color photos of each card and supplemental images throughout.

The deck is a fully illustrated 80 card RWS style Tarot, featuring original collage art. The illustrations were created by combining visual elements from various fine art and commercial sources for each card. These elements were curated from sources ranging from antiquity to the early days of the 20th century.

The guidebook features comprehensive descriptions and interpretations for each card, creator/author bios, a Tarot history overview, custom spreads, and Caroline’s expert instructions on reading Tarot. The text flows smoothly in a straightforward and witty style.

The book and box share The Empress signature cover image. The box is lined with an embellished insert and a rich cobalt blue interior.

The highly detailed deck illustrations are showcased by the 3.5” x 5.5” “jumbo” cards with a gloss finish. They are printed on a 320 gsm black core Italian stock for flexible shuffling.

The card backgrounds feature damask-style designs unique for each suite and their elemental correspondences. The first edition card back is a subtly asymmetrical design of tentacled creatures on a celestial floral field.
